Saanich International Folk Dancers, 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. Friday evenings (except the second week of each month it is on Saturday, same time) St. Matthais Anglican Church hall, 600 Richmond Av. (at Richardson), Victoria, BC, V8S 3Y7. June - August we dance in Beacon Hill Park from 7:00 p.m. until dusk
We review a dance or teach a new one each night, otherwise the board is open for requests from beginner to advanced dances.
Our purpose to
practice and teach international folk dance is to keep these fun dances
and to share the experience of learning them while we benefit both physically and mentally in
dancing them. When we have dance parties for Hallowe'en and Christmas, we tend to socialize
more and share ethnic finger foods!
