1988-1991 Senior Electrical Engineer, specialising in Industrial Control Systems design, procurement and start-up for the Pulp & Paper industry in BC and Chile. Experienced in the configuration of Allen-Bradley and General Electric PLC systems, and Fisher-Provox DCS systems.
1983-1986 Project Engineer/Resident Engineer, SkyTrain project. Design, procurement, installation supervision and system acceptance, of an Integrated Alarm Notification System (IANS) for protection of SkyTrain's fixed facilities. The IANS monitors/controls all Fire, Security, Emergency Voice Communications and mechanical equipment throughout all wayside facilities along the automated line, reporting to a Central Operator in a constantly manned Control Centre.
