                        .....a thank you from Littlehavens

Dear Dave,

Re: Donation to Little Havens

Thanks ever so much for your cheque  (£376.59) received in support of Little Havens Children's Hospice.
It was a very welcome surprise to receive your call and we are all very grateful here at Little Havens. Please
would you pass on our appreciation to all those involved with the online raffle of the Poster and who helped
raise such a fabulous sum. I have had the opportunity to visit the site via the links in your note and have a look at the poster and the images that Neil Calandra kindly included. Our congratulations go to Dean for buying a ticket and winning such a fabulous prize!
Thanks again for your support of Little Havens - and for helping to brighten the lives of children and their
families in the local community living with life-limiting illness. Little Havens is an amazing place and very
much a place for the living.
Keep on digging the Blues!
Cheers,
Peter Hall Volunteer Services Co-ordinator, Havens Hospices.

My apologies for wanting to change the ebay auction at this time to what is now being refered to as a draw.  In thinking about the idea behind the ebay auction, to raise money for charity, there were a couple of things that didn't really seem fair to both the people bidding and, more importantly, the charity the guys are supporting. It was felt that, in the end, only the person with the money to spend on this kind of thing would get it (not everyone can spend say $100-$200 at best for a poster especially at this time of year) and yet I really think that given the opportunity to help a good cause along with the band, a lot of fans would love to support them this way.
In discussions with Dave Bronze, we felt that going at it as a raffle might not only give everyone an equal chance at owning this great piece of history for anyone who can give say $10.00,  but it also has the potential to raise more money for the charity.  And this is what we are trying to do.
This is a good cause that both band members and fans can get behind together.

So here is what we came up with.....

Entries are $10.00  U.S. each       payable by money order/ or paypal
All proceeds go to the charity.

You can buy as many entries as you wish.     Each $10.00 equates to one entry in the draw.

Total money order payable to Steve Shail
Mail to:  : Steve Shail

This poster below, designed by Thomas Morris specifically for the Fillmore show this last year, gave Bronzie an idea.  Robin, Dave, Davey and Pete  signed one copy to auction off  and they would donate the proceeds of the auction to the

                                      Littlehaven Childrens Hospice

Please click the link and read about Littlehaven and what they do. This is a good cause and a great opportunity to own a real piece of history.

The poster is 11x 17 and hard paper not poster paper

And now included in the winning ticket
these two prints from Neil
