Martin Novotny grew up in the suburbs of Vancouver, British Columbia.
He first fell in love with acting doing musical theater as a teen.  He then 
went to school to become a teacher, working in adult prisons, Prague, 
and finally public schools.  In 1998 he returned to acting and training,
connecting most with the Meisner technique.  He has been involved in
independent films and many TV credits including The Addams Family (series),
The Crow, Cold Squad, John Doe, Stargate SG1, Da Vinci's Inquest, The
Dead Zone, and a role on ABC's sitcom pilot -The Funkhousers.

Martin lives downtown Vancouver and keeps busy auditioning, making
money online and spending time with friends.
