Fresh air supply into a building is desirable.
It can dilute and flush out irritants, which can come from many sources. To
avoid health problems (" sick building syndrome") from indoor building
sources, the number one thing to remember is that you must supply enough fresh
air into the building. Hydro-Air Technical Services are working in conjunction
with mechanical engineers and control contractors to improve fresh air supply in
existing buildings. Fresh air volumes can be set up to desired CFM / LPS for the amount
of occupants per floor. Variable air volume can be controlled by DDC connected
to the building management system or a pneumatic controller using the existing
dampers and actuators.
