My name is Herman Westland and I live in the beautiful City of Victoria, British Columbia, also known as
The Garden City of Canada

I have been carving for many years, though more diligently since my retirement from accounting in 1986. Many of you, who have admired my carvings, have so often made the remark "Oh, I wish I had your talent!", that I felt compelled to write this webpage to convince you that you too will discover a surprising amount of your own carving skills.
