Eva Longoria Involved in Minor Fender Bender

(2/9/12) A guy in West Hollywood hit the jackpot this afternoon when he scored Eva Longoria's phone number ... but that's because she had just rear-ended him with her BMW ... TMZ has learned.

According to our sources, Eva was leaving her BFF Ken Paves' salon when she pulled out into traffic and lightly tapped the car in front of her. We're told the car Eva hit only suffered minor scratches.

Our source on the scene said the guy didn't care about the minor damage ... he was just stoked to get Eva's digits.

    Stranger things have happened.

Spike Lee, Katy Perry, Eva Longoria, Diddy, more tweet the Super Bowl

(2/6/12) The micro-blogging site Twitter was abuzz throughout last night's Super Bowl, with football fans across the country typing 12,233 tweets per second as the Giants bested the New England Patriots. Numerous celebrities were among those picking up their smartphones to post messages during the game.

Actress Alyssa Milano tweeted to the referees from the stands, "Dear Ref, Pass interference. That is all. Love, #NYGiants Fans Everywhere." During the Giants' final drive of the game, the "Who's the Boss?" star tweeted, "I believe in Eli. #SB46 #NYGiants Let's go @Giants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Mayor Bloomberg also tweeted from the game. "Congratulations to the #SuperBowl Champion New York Giants!" he wrote, before echoing the Giants's Twitter rallying call. "#AllIn."

Spike Lee brought his son, Jackson, to the game and was so excited by the Giants' victory that he turned on his caps lock. "New York Is Back On Top Where We Belong," he wrote. "New York New York -- CELEBRATE,CELEBRATE,DANCE TO THE MUSIC.CELEBRATE,CELEBRATE,DANCE TO THE MUSIC."

Diddy was equally as enthused. During the final minute, as the Patriots got one last attempt at scoring, the hip hop mogul tweeted, "Yeeeeeaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!! GiANTS!!!!!! Defense!!! This is it!!!!!!" When Tom Brady and his team failed to score, Diddy added, "We did it!!!!!!!!!! GiANTS!!!!!!!"

Pop star Katy Perry initially seemed unsure of who to root for at the big game, sporting an ensemble that was hybrid of both the Giants' and Patriots' team uniforms. "SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE @ #thesuperbowl #neverthoughtidsaythat," she wrote, refusing to pick a favorite team for the first half of the game. "#BOOYAAA #stillneutral."

But by the end of the night, Perry got caught up in Giants fever, wearing a foam finger and jumping in the air as the team scored. "Okay fine.... I ? GIANTS!" Perry wrote.

When a fan replied, "Oh what, after they win? Classy," the "Teenage Dream" singer responded "I will cut you off!"

Late-night TV host Jimmy Fallon revealed early in the game, "I already lost $100." But the financial hit didn't seem to dull his enthusiasm. As the game concluded, Fallon typed, "New York and Indianapolis are partying right now!!! Congrats Giants!!!"

Eva Longoria also revealed on Twitter that she had placed a bet on the game. "Making a Super Bowl Scoring grid! I'm serious about football! ... Now time to start betting!" she wrote. "Me and my girl @lala watching super bowl in our sweats! ... Wow great game! Congrats NY!"

Other celebrities didn't have as much to say about the game as they did about the halftime show.

    Paul Abdul wrote, "O. M. G. #Madonna #killedit BRILLIANT #HalfTime show!!!!!!!!!!!! SUPERB choreography & Madonna was FLAWLESS!"

Reality TV star Bethenny Frankel' echoed her sentiment, writing, "Holy madonna balls. That was epic."

Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner also added, "Madonna was amazing!!!!!!! Perfection!!"

Meanwhile, socialite Nicky Hilton sounded a touch clueless when she wrote, "So I heard they're gonna play football at the Madonna concert tonight."

"30 Rock" actor Alec Baldwin initially seemed unenthused by the game, writing, "Two quarters of SuperBowl and the strongest performer is Madonna."

But after the Giants picked up their play in the second half, he turned his focus back to the game. "Who's the King of New York? Eli's the King of New York," Baldwin wrote at the end of the night, referencing MVP Eli Manning.

Pilot Season: ABC Picks Up Four Dramas, Including One from Desperate Housewives' Marc Cherry

(1/31/12) Desperate Housewives may be going off the air, but Marc Cherry could be staying with ABC.

ABC has picked up four new drama pilots, including a new possible primetime soap from Cherry. Based on a Mexican format, Devious Maids follows four maids with ambition and dreams of their own who work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. Cherry will write and executive-produce alongside Sabrina Wind.

From executive producer and writer Michael Green, Gotham features a female cop who, after pursuing a seemingly unsolvable case, discovers a magical world that exists within New York City. Erwin Stoff is also executive-producing.

Written and executive-produced by Paul Scheuring, Zero Hour is the tale of a skeptics magazine editor who gets pulled into one of the most compelling conspiracies in human history. Lorenzo DiBonaventura and Dan McDermott are also attached to executive-produce.

Based on the Dutch format, Penoza centers on the widow of an assassinated criminal who is forced to adopt her husband's role in a crime syndicate in order to protect her family. Melissa Rosenberg will write and executive-produce alongside Alon Aranya and Howard Klein.

William H. Macy Reveals How He Keeps the Passion Alive with Felicity Huffman

(1/26/12) Fake it 'til you make it.

That, in a nutshell, is William H. Macy's advice to men on how to keep things passionate after the first few years of marriage.

"Just act like you love her more than anybody you've ever seen in your life, and you'll get it back in spades. Just pretend," says the actor, 61, whose been married to Desperate Housewives actress Felicity Huffman for 15 years. "You have to pretend. Make it up, just make it up!"

Speaking to In The Mixx at the AXE Hair Media Lounge during the Sundance Film Festival, where he was promoting his new film The Surrogate, the Shameless star said you have to put some work in, too.

"Marriage is really hot and ooey-gooey for about a year or two, and then the rest of it is a relationship, which you got to work on," he says. "You can have passion, but you've got to work on it."

So, by pretending, does he mean ... role play? "Role play. Do whatever you need," he says. "The point is, you've got to set your sights. You've got to say, 'Do we want to make this hot? Or do we not?' And if you do, then do it! Don't give yourself excuses."

    Stars send love to Moore

(1/25/12) Eva Longoria, Marlee Matlin and Russell Simmons are among the stars who have reached out to Demi Moore as she seeks professional help for exhaustion and health problems.

The Ghost actress has entered a treatment facility following her hospitalization on Monday night when paramedics were called to her home.

A spokesperson for the star said, "Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."

Now Moore's famous pals have added their support - in a post on his Twitter.com page, Simmons writes, "thoughts and prayers to Demi Moore", and Longoria adds, "Sending my love and support to one of the most beautiful people i know."

Matlin declares, "Let's give Demi Moore some space and time. Send her good thoughts", while actress Elise Neal writes, "Wishing (Moore) a speedy healthy recovery."

Moore's hospitalization comes just two months since she split from husband Ashton Kutcher after six years together.

Which Major Desperate Housewives Character Will Die? The 8 Potential Victims

(1/24/12) Desperate Housewives doesn't wrap its eight-year run until May, but the grim reaper will be paying an early visit in March when a "major character" will die. As first reported by Entertainment Weekly, the passing will be "pivotal" to the rest of the season.

So which character is being laid to rest? We weigh the pros and cons for killing off each of the housewives and their house husbands in order from most likely to eat it to least:

    1. Mike (James Denton)

Why He Will Die: Producers haven't really known what to do with Mike in recent years so death would finally give him purpose and send Susan on an intriguing new path. And it makes narrative sense, too: Mike made himself known to the bad guys when he convinced Ben not to borrow money from that shady man. Too bad Ben turned around and took the loan anyway -- if he falls short, will Mike have to pay the ultimate price?

Why He Won't: Sure, Susan and Mike became Wisteria's boring old married couple the instant they got re-hitched, but it would be cruel to rob them of a happy ending. Also, who's going to watch MJ while Susan is busy discovering herself as a "tortured" artist?

    2. Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira)

Why He Will Die: It's no secret that Carlos' immense guilt over killing Alejandro is what led him to the bottle. Is the next step taking his own life? Even if Carlos doesn't off himself, anyone looking to avenge Alejandro's death would likely go to him first. He's barely been featured in this season to begin with.

Why He Won't: When viewers first met the women of Wisteria Lane, the Solises were the opposite of a happy couple. It would be more poetic to close the book with Gaby and Carlos as we never thought we'd see them — in love.

    3. Renee (Vanessa Williams)

Why She Will Die: She may have broken things off with Ben, but the mysterious mafia guy her ex-lover borrowed money from didn't seem afraid to get Renee involved if Ben doesn't keep to his strict payment plan.

Why She Won't: It's nothing personal, but most viewers never fully warmed up to the former Mrs. New York Yankee, so killing her off wouldn't send as many shockwaves — which is the whole point of axing someone so close to the end.

    4. Bree (Marcia Cross)

Why She Will Die: Since the ladies buried Alejandro's body, Bree's been the sole recipient of those mysterious I Know What You Did Last Summer-esque notes. And did we mention her recent, and rather, sudden foray into sleeping around and drinking before noon? If the former homemaker of the year can transform into the town whore, anything is possible. If we're really going to spitball here, maybe it's Bree's funeral that would bring Orson back to Fairview.

Why She Won't: If Bree was going to bite the bullet, producers probably would have had her pull the trigger back when she contemplated suicide. If they came so close to killing her, and didn't, chances are she'll make it to the end — even if this new side of Bree makes fans cringe.

    5. Tom (Doug Savant)

Why He Will Die: Because if Lynette can't have him, nobody can! Talk about the most tragic thing to happen on Wisteria Lane ever...

Why He Won't: Of all the Wisteria Lane hubbies, Tom is the least connected to Alejandro's death. Plus, the writers have had plenty of material to mine from his and Lynette's separation — killing him off before season's end would almost certainly feel like cutting their journey as a couple short.

    6. Lynette (Felicity Huffman)

Why She Will Die: If we had to go through a divorce, miscarriage and cancer all in a few short years, we'd want to check out sooner rather than later, too.

Why She Won't: She is just starting to accept her split and start dating again, so if Lynette dies months before the final episode, would that leave enough time for closure? Probably not. More importantly, she's remained one of the most relatable housewives, so her death may be too heart-breaking for even the most ratings-desperate producers to bear. Kill Lynette, kill the show?

    7. Gaby (Eva Longoria)

Why She Will Die: From a shallow cheater to a loving wife and mother, Gaby's come a long way, baby. If she were to die in some valiant way — to save her husband, her kids or her friends — it would make her story truly come full circle from the pilot.

Why She Won't: Through deaths, divorces and major disasters, Gaby's always made us laugh. Imagining the series' final episodes without Gaby is too unbearable a thought.

    8. Susan (Teri Hatcher)

Why She Will Die: After eight seasons of prat falls, it's time. One too many hits to the head will do that! More seriously, Susan has pinned herself and the other women to Alejandro's disappearance too many times this season, first with her painting, then by going to Oklahoma. Since she doesn't seem to learn from her mistakes, one of these stupid moves may cost her big time.

Why She Won't: From her iconic accidental striptease in Season 1 to her once passionate will-they-or-won't-they romance with Mike, Susan has carried the show at one time or another. Would Marc Cherry really kill her off?

Fast national ratings for Sunday, Jan. 22, 2011

(1/23/12) The NFC Championship game scored a massive audience for FOX on Sunday, but we'll have to wait and see how many people stuck around for a special "American Idol" afterward: The overtime contest and post-game report pushed "Idol" out of primetime in most of the country.

UPDATE 12:30 p.m. ET: FOX says the post-football "Idol" broadcast, which began at 10:57 p.m. ET, drew 19.8 million viewers and a 7.9 rating among adults 18-49. The demo number beat the show's Wednesday and Thursday airings last week.

Elsewhere, ABC's lineup was relatively steady with last week, falling by only a small amount against the huge NFL game, while CBS' "Undercover Boss" took a somewhat bigger hit in its second week.

FOX's numbers will change some because of its live NFL telecast, but as it stands now the network averaged about 50.1 million viewers and a 26.9 rating/39 share in households Sunday. CBS was the best of the rest in viewers, drawing 7.2 million and a 4.8/7. ABC (6.45 million, 4.0/6) came in third, and NBC (4.6 million, 3.1/4) trailed.

FOX scored an 18.7 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic, the highest number (by a lot) for any network this season. ABC finished with a 2.0, followed by CBS, 1.6, and NBC, 0.9.

Can Lynette and Tom Get It Together By Series' End?

(1/20/12) Will one of Wisteria Lane's most beloved couples be able to reconcile before time runs out? For seven seasons of Desperate Housewives, Lynette (Felicity Huffman) and Tom Scavo (Doug Savant) were one of the show's few stable relationships. While Gaby and Carlos, and Susan and Mike were busy breaking up and getting back together, and Bree had her hands full bedding half the block, the Scavos always seemed to have it together.

But after separating at the beginning of the season, things aren't looking good. "We're worried," Huffman tells TVGuide.com. "We just keep getting farther and farther apart."

That gap is only going to widen on this Sunday's episode, airing at 9/8c on ABC, when Lynette starts dating again. Tom already has a girlfriend, Jane (Andrea Parker), but that doesn't mean he's going to take the news well. "While I was away from the set, James [Denton] took a picture of Felicity in bed with another actor and sent it to me and I said, 'That's it. I want a divorce,'" Savant says with a laugh. "I don't anticipate Tom reacting any better than I already did, which is poorly."

Savant is hardly the only one having a tough time accepting the couple's break-up this season. "I used to get very good reactions on the street. People liked Tom and thought he was funny. And now I hear 'You're stupid,'" Savant says. ("Do they really say you're stupid?" Huffman asks. "Was it me?" At least they still do the old married couple banter off-screen.)

Huffman anticipates more tough feedback now that Lynette is playing the field again, and she empathizes with fans. "People are shocked. People don't like it. I read a lot of stuff about people hating Jane, but I've been dating so I'm sure stuff is going to come out about that," Huffman says. "People are attached, as are we, to the marriage and they want them to get back together."

Considering the many hardships their marriage has endured over the years -- the discovery of a long-lost love child, cancer, miscarriage, money troubles, the grocery store shoot-out, the tornado and the plane crash -- how much will it take to keep them apart for good? "They're meant to be together. They have a deep and abiding love," Huffman says. "Like a lot of marriages, they've let the bad stuff overtake the good stuff."

A happy ending for Lynette and Tom is the only way Savant sees fit to say goodbye to Desperate Housewives. "I so closely relate this entire experience to our personal friendship and working relationship because she's my wife on the show. She's the reason I exist on the show," Savant says. "I can't imagine the show coming to an end and us not being together."

Eva Longoria Says Sayonara To Tony Parker Tattoo

(1/19/12) Eva Longoria has had enough of Tony Parker, both in marriage and on her body, because she went to a famous tattoo guy Wednesday to begin the final process of 86'ing the "NINE" tattoo on her neck.

Nine, of course, is Tony's number on the San Antonio Spurs, but it's not sitting well with Eva now that she's divorced from Parker. We've learned she went to Dr. Tattoff -- the famous tattoo removal guy -- Wednesday to get all traces of the tat removed.

There were reports Eva tried to laser off the tattoo, but it didn't do the trick.

Eva will soon be clean as a whistle ... for the new guy who, by the way, accompanied her to Dr. Tattoff.

    Ex 'Housewives' star engaged

(1/17/12) TV hunk Jesse Metcalfe (ex-Miguel, Passions) is engaged to his longtime girlfriend Cara Santana, according to U.S. reports.

The pair has been dating for five years and now the former Desperate Housewives star has asked the aspiring actress to be his wife, reports Us Weekly.

A source tells the magazine, "They have been dating for four to five years and living together for at least three."

Metcalfe, who is set to appear in the reboot of hit 1980s show Dallas, previously dated Northern Irish singer Nadine Coyle.

Fast National ratings for Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012

(1/16/12) Ratings for the 2012 Golden Globe Awards were down a little bit from last year, dipping by a couple hundred thousand viewers from the 2011 ceremony. NBC came in second for the night to FOX, which rode a huge audience for the end of its NFL playoff game to victory.

The big lead-in gave "The Simpsons" its biggest audience of the season and helped "Napoleon Dynamite" score solid numbers for its premiere -- although the show's second episode later in te night didn't fare quite as well. "Undercover Boss" also opened to decent numbers for CBS.

Thanks to the Giants-Packers game carrying into primetime, FOX scored 20.2 million viewers and an 11.1 rating/17 share for the night, beating out NBC (12.3 million, 7.5/1). Numbers for both networks are subject to revision because of their live telecasts. CBS took third for the evening with 9.2 million viewers and a 5.8/9, while ABC (6.7 million, 4.0/6) trailed.

FOX also dominated the adults 18-49 demographic with an 8.0 rating. NBC finished second with a 3.6, followed by ABC, 2.1, and CBS, 2.0.

Memorable Moments of the Golden Globes

(1/16/12) Best Sing-Along: Husband and wife William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman sing their introduction of the nominees for Supporting Actress in a Series/Miniseries/TV Movie: "These actresses did stunning work, heartbreaking true and bold/Though four will go home empty-handed, one will take home gold. Don't be humiliated, cuz you all did a terrific job/It's an honor to be nominated..." Then they pause, look at each other, and offer: "Blah-blah-blah-blah-blah-blah-blah." Truth!

Longoria looks on bright side of divorce stats

(1/11/12) Eva Longoria knows marriage can be tough, but she was startled to hear what a "Desperate Housewives" co-star had to say on the subject.

Longoria, who split in 2010 from athlete-husband Tony Parker, was promoting her ABC television show Tuesday with other cast members at a Television Critics Association meeting.

Felicity Huffman, discussing her character's marital woes on "Desperate Housewives," claimed that 60 percent of first marriages and 80 percent of second unions end in divorce. Huffman didn't cite a source for the percentages.

Longoria, with exaggerated panic, responded, "It gets higher?"

Then she looked on the bright side, suggesting the third time would be the charm.

"Desperate Housewives" will end its eight-year run this season on ABC.

How Will Desperate Housewives End? Marc Cherry Teases a Special Cameo

(1/11/12) What will the final chapter of Desperate Housewives look like? Don't bother asking series creator Marc Cherry. "I'm so not revealing what the end is going to be," the creator and executive producer told reporters Tuesday at ABC's winter TV previews. "I have it in my head and I'm hyper-protective of it."

The Housewives boss is confident he's ending the series at the right time, acknowledging that in recent years it became more difficult for writers to find new creative territory to mine. But he also divulged that he's had the series' last act mapped out for more than seven years, and he did confirm that he will "pull a Hitchcock" and make a cameo in the last episode. The revelation was met with applause and loud "yays" from the cast. "The hair and makeup people will go through hell that day," Cherry joked.

On a more serious note, Cherry and Daily said the final episodes will continue to pay homage to the show's first season. Cherry revealed it was ABC Entertainment President Paul Lee who suggested that the series resurrect the "I Know What You Did" note from Season 1. "We handed in the first episode and Paul Lee called and said, 'I think you need something that's a little bit more of an echo,'" Cherry recalled. So the writers kicked off Season 8 by re-watching the pilot. "We're really trying to view this season as a bookend to that iconic first season and first episode," executive producer Bob Daily said.

At the same time, producers have no intention of resolving every lingering storyline, i.e. fans hoping to finally find out what state Fairview is located in will be out of luck. "We don't necessarily want to tie up every loose end in the finale," Daily said, hinting that the writers hope to imply that life will go on in Fairview after the cameras stop rolling.

"People keep asking me if [the ending] is bittersweet. I say, 'No, it's sweet,'" Cherry said. "We're just thankful for the ride that we have because not many people get to experience what we collectively got to experience."

Cherry may have been tight-lipped about the surprises in store, but he did shoot down the possibility of a TV reunion or movie. "After eight years, boy, I think we're done. And I'm happy about it. It's not a bad thing. I feel very satisfied with where we are," Cherry said, taking a dig at the critical flop that was Sex and the City 2. "I'm just never sending these gals to Dubai, that's all I'm saying."

Desperate Housewives airs Sundays at 9/8c on ABC.

Desperate Housewives Cast and Creator Discuss the End! Plus, Will There Be a Movie?

(1/11/12) "This is like having the funeral before you die."

So said Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman at the show's winter TCA panel today after constantly being asked about the show's ending. The panel was a bit bittersweet, with the show's creator Marc Cherry and stars Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria and Marcia Cross all reflecting on their eight-year run. However, could there still be life on Wisteria Lane after the TV series ends? Cherry addressed the possibility of a D.H. reunion movie head-on in the panel.

Plus, will Tom (Doug Savant) and Lynette (Huffman) reconcile before the series' end? Here's what Cherry & Co. had to say...

Cherry revealed he actually talked to Sex and the City creator Michael Patrick King about doing a movie a few years ago and says King has a slight advantage. "Sex and the City only did like 69 episodes. The advantage for them was they hadn't really plumbed the depths of those characters," Cherry explained. "After eight years, I think we're done. I'm happy about it. It's not a bad thing. I feel very satisfied with where we are. I'm never sending these girls to Dubai. That's all I'm saying."

While loose ends will be tied up in the finale, don't expect everything to be wrapped up in a pretty bow. "We don't want to tie up every loose end," executive producer Bob Daily said. "Life goes on on Wisteria Lane." Cherry, who wouldn't specify which loose ends would be wrapped up, said the audience is "never going to find out which state Fairview is in" and teases that "old familiar faces are going to be coming back to the show." One person definitely coming back? Susan's daughter Julie (Andrea Bowen). When asked if Nicollette Sheridan will reprise her role as Edie, Cherry replied, "No comment," but hinted that she will not be coming back.

Daily said the writers "rewatched the pilot" before delving into the final season to try to have "as many echoes as possible to that first episode and the first season." As for Cherry, he said he has had the series' last act planned for the last seven and a half years and it has not changed.

Cherry said one thing he thought the show would never be able to pull off was Tom and Lynette's split and he's been please by the fan reaction to the storyline. "The fans have gone with it this year, which has been nice." Still, Cherry gave a small nugget of hope to fans hoping Tom and Lynette can work it out, saying, "We have some interesting twists yet to come."

When Huffman and Savant were asked about the breakup, Savant joked, "We hate it! It was a bad choice!" Huffman revealed it actually caused a bit of tension for the actors behind the scenes, saying, "We actually started fighting offscreen. Lite imitated art. It was interesting, because its the eighth year, you get to go places you haven't been before. It's been upsetting and we don't get to work together as much, and working with Doug is one of my favorite things."

Regarding another couple, Gabby and Carlos, Ricardo Antonio Chavira said he's been most surprised by the fact "that we're still together. They've become this couple that the audience tends to rely on and look at as the ones who kind of have it together and seem to be the strongest." Quick to defend her fictional marriage, Huffman joked, "Your marriage is the strongest?!"

After everything they've been through, affairs, murder, blindness, rehab and more, Longoria joked, "I wouldn't be surprised if [Carlos] is going to be gay." Cherry admitted that when the show first started he had the most trouble figuring out Gabby and Carlos but says they have become the show's "go-to comedy couple because they were both so despicable to one another."

For Hatcher, her favorite moment of the series was a no-brainer: "It's hard to beat the naked in the bushes scenes; probably one of the most fun, vulnerable, exciting, well-written moments in Susan's personal journeys."

Are you going to miss the Desperate Housewives ladies on your TV screen?

Fast National ratings for Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012

(1/9/12) An overtime NFL playoff game on CBS delivered a huge audience early Sunday night and led the network to a big ratings win. Elsewhere, "The Firm" had a pretty soft start for NBC, particularly in the adults 18-49 demographic, while "Once Upon a Time" returned to ABC with improved numbers compared to its last couple episodes of the fall.

PDA of the Day: Eva Longoria and Eduardo Cruz

(1/5/12) (Photo) They may not be engaged (yet!), but that certainly isn't stopping Eva Longoria and Eduardo Cruz from, er, engaging in some serious PDA. The adorable duo seemed completely oblivious to their surroundings as they stole a smooch from each other while at a shopping mall in Madrid last week. The Desperate Housewives hottie and her main squeeze—with the emphasis on squeeze—were in the Spain city visiting with Eduardo's sister, Monica. We can only imagine what kind of kiss these two will serve up if and when Eva's man actually does pop the question!

Eva Longoria on Post-Divorce Weight Loss: It Was The Most Unhealthy Place I've Ever Been

(1/5/12) Eva Longoria says she was unhappy about her weight loss after her November 2010 split from pro basketball star Tony Parker — even though she was getting compliments.

"I was so thin and everyone kept saying how great I looked and it was probably the most unhealthy place I've ever been," Longoria recalls in the latest cover story of Health magazine.

"So it was funny what people would see as 'healthy,'" she says. "In my worst time, people were saying I've never looked better."

The 36-year-old Desperate Housewives actress also discusses the year she spent being a vegan (she calls it her "biggest health regret") and the fact that she previously worked as a personal trainer and aerobics instructor.

"[But now] I have a great diet and exercise routine. And I try to have a healthy outlook. I'm your everlasting, hopeless optimist!"

Roselyn Sánchez Celebrates Her Baby Shower

    (12/13/11) (Photo 1, Photo 2, Photo 3) Bonita baby!

Roselyn Sánchez (ex-Pilar, As The World Turns) celebrates her upcoming arrival — her daughter is due in early January — at a shower thrown by Johnson’s Naturals on Nov. 5 in California.

Pretty in a long purple dress, the actress, 38, welcomed guests — including husband Eric Winter (ex-Rex, Days Of Our Lives) and close pal Eva Longoria (ex-Isabella, The Young & The Restless)— to the outdoor garden party.

Baby girl received many gifts — including a pink tricycle!

The Killing: Is This the Man Who Killed Rosie Larsen?

(12/13/11) Did Paul Young kill Rosie Larsen?

Mark Moses, the actor who plays the Desperate Housewives murderer, is joining The Killing as a new detective who joins the investigation into Rosie's death, according to The Hollywood Reporter. (What? That doesn't mean he didn't do it!)

Moses, 53, will play Lt. Carlson, a new hire at the Seattle Police Department. In early casting calls for the role, Carlson is described as a clean-cut, smart and crafty cop who comes off more white collar than blue collar. It's hard to read whether Carlson is honest or simply playing along.

The Killing drew outrage from fans last year when the crime drama stopped short of solving the central mystery — who killed Rosie Larsen? — by the end of Season 1. Moses is set to appear in at least eight episodes of Season 2 and plays a role in the Larsen investigation, which begs the question: Will viewers be getting their answer later rather than sooner? We sure hope not.

In addition to Desperate Housewives, Moses recurred on Mad Men as ruthless ad men Herman "Duck" Phillips. He will next be seen on The Closer in the Dec. 19 episode.

The Killing returns for Season 2 this spring.

All My Children Alum Cameron Mathison to Woo Bree on Desperate Housewives

(12/7/11) He may not be going back to Pine Valley, but Cameron Mathison is headed to another one of TV's most picturesque neighborhoods: Wisteria Lane.

The All My Children alum will appear on an upcoming episode of Desperate Housewives, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

"I play one of Bree's lovers," Mathison tells ABC Soaps In Depth, which reported his guest role. "We have a couple of fun scenes. I really loved working with [Marcia Cross]. She is very kind and generous." If his Twitter account is any indication, it sounds like Mathison may be stripping down for the role. "Back working at Desperate Housewives," he tweeted Friday. "Doing lots of pushups before my scene. That's all I'm saying."

The episode is tentatively scheduled to air in January, according to the magazine.

This will be Mathison's first TV appearance since AMC left the air in September. He was originally set to follow the long-running ABC soap to its new online home in 2012. However, Prospect Park, the company behind the online move, suspended production last month on the online versions of All My Children and One Life to Live, citing financial and logistical problems.

Are you excited to see Mathison romance Bree on Desperate Housewives? Are you still mourning the end of All My Children?

Fast national ratings for Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011

(12/5/11) The ratings for "Once Upon a Time" dipped for the second straight week on Sunday after a string of rock-steady performances earlier in the season. It did, however, keep ABC competitive in its hour. "Pan Am's" first episode back after a three-week break was also lower than the last couple episodes.

Elsewhere, NBC scored another victory with "Sunday Night Football," although the Detroit Lions-New Orleans Saints game drew a smaller audience than last week's contest. FOX's animation lineup got a boost from a late-afternoon NFL game that bled into primetime.

NBC drew 13.7 million viewers and an 8.4 rating/13 share in households for the night, beating out FOX's 12.6 million and 7.4/11. Numbers for both networks will change some with adjustments for their live NFL broadcasts. CBS (10.4 million, 6.6/10) finished third. ABC trailed with 7.1 million viewers and a 4.3/7.

NBC also led the adults 18-49 demographic, but not by much. Pending adjustments, the Peacock's 5.2 rating edged FOX's 5.1 for the top spot. ABC took third with a 2.2, topping CBS' 2.1.

    Cameron Mathison To DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES

(12/2/11) Expect a guest star appearance by Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan, AMC) on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES this season. The actor tweeted, "Back working at Desperate Housewives today. Doing lots of pushups before my scene. That's all I'm saying:)"

Eva Longoria: I Was 'Very Lucky' to Find Eduardo Cruz

(11/28/11) This Thanksgiving, Eva Longoria knew exactly what – or rather, whom – to be grateful for: her boyfriend of almost a year, Eduardo Cruz.

The Desperate Housewives star is counting her blessings after finding love again following her divorce from Tony Parker.

"Love did not work with that person. But it can work with another," the actress tells Spanish Vanity Fair in a new interview. "The only thing I will say is I was very lucky to find Edu."

Longoria, 36, and Cruz, 26 – the younger brother of actress Penélope Cruz – have been dating since last winter. This past week, they took their romance coast to coast, with stops in Miami and California.

Longoria filed for divorce from Parker, an NBA star, last November after three years of marriage. Despite that breakup, the actress says she still believed in the power of love.

"There's a reason I fell in love and got married. I believed in it," she says. "Supposedly I should be angry, resentful and disillusioned about relationships. But I'm not."

What Are Ashton Kutcher, Eva Longoria and More Tweetful For?!

(11/25/11) Thanksgiving was filled with family, friends and of course food for our favorite celebrities—along with wisdom teeth, burnt turkey and recording studios?!

While Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan were feeding the homeless, our other favorite celebs like Jessica Alba, Miley Cyrus, Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson, Ashton Kutcher, Nina Dobrev and more took to the Internet's own bird, Twitter, to express their Thanksgiving trials, tribulations and triumphs as well as share what they're tweetful for.

John Legend's model and foodie girlfriend Chrissy Teigen didn't have the best of luck with her cooking, sharing with the twitverse a pic of her and John complete with a burnt turkey and tweeting: "Good call on the emergency honeybaked ham, CHRISSY. omg."

Where Chrissy and John savored their taste buds with a backup plan, Nina Dobrev skipped out on a Thanksgiving meal altogether. The Vampire Diaries star tweeted: "No turkey for me tonight- worst or best idea to get my wisdom teeth removed the day before thanksgiving?"

While Nicole Richie was sharing she "just caught my grandma digging for gold. Happy Thanksgiving!" her hubby Joel Madden was having serious regrets about stepping up to the plate and cooking. The rocker tweeted: "I'm making the turkey, the stuffing, the Mac and cheese, and the pies. This could be really bad. Sounded fun at the time."

Along with Joel, preggers Jessica Simpson opted to cook for fiancé Eric Johnson's side of the family, tweeting: "Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! I made some TX casseroles for the Boston family! Eric and I have so much to be grateful for... God is good!"

True to her onscreen character, Desperate Housewives' Eva Longoria decided to not cook this year, sharing, along with a pic: "Had the most amazing dinner at Sage in Vegas at Aria with my family! First year I didn't cook, but wow this meal was worth it! My dessert!"

While Eva feasted in Vegas, Kelly Osbourne and mom Sharon Osbourne spent the holiday in true rock star fashion—in a recording studio! The Fashion Police cohost tweeted: "since its just me and my mum in town looks like we will now be spending thanksgiving in the studio with @OfficialSabbath [Black Sabbath] could be worse :)" The blonde later exclaimed that her famous father Ozzy Osbourne had made up for his rocker ways, sharing: "to make up for the fact that my dad was w/ @OfficialSabbath recording he made me the best sticky toffee pudding for thanksgiving dinner! <3"

Jessica Alba described the holiday meal aptly as "Gluttony at it's finest." Whereas New Girl star Zoey Deschanel thanked the machine gods, tweeting: "I am thankful I have a dishwasher: so many dishes. SO. MANY. DISHES."

In true comedic form, Sarah Silverman wished her followers a "Happy holocaust of the Native American people day!"

Olivia Wilde revealed she's got a goofy family, warning: "Oh god. Family charades is starting. This is when it gets ugly. I might take a bribe to go down early. These people are viscous" (with a later tweet for the spelling oops: "...and also vicious.")

A more sentimental, and recently separated, Ashton Kutcher told his almost 9 million followers: "I'm thankful for family, friends, you, & time to reach my potential. What are you thankful for?"

Well, we're sure thankful for the above celebrities and all their glory!

Dana Delany, Kyle MacLachlan Returning to Desperate Housewives

(11/23/11) Some Desperate Housewives alums will return for the show's eight and final season.

Dana Delany, Kyle MacLachlan and Andrea Bowen are all set to come back before the ABC series signs off in May 2012, according to TVLine. When they'll appear and how long they'll stick around remains unknown.

Delany, who stars on Body of Proof, made her Wisteria Lane debut on the show's fourth season as the twice divorced Katherine. She exited in Season 6.

MacLachlan played Orson, who was introduced in Season 2 and later married Bree (Marcia Cross). His last appearance on the show was in the Season 7 premiere when Orson and Bree sign their divorce papers.

Bowen plays Susan's daughter Julie, who last appeared in Season 7 visiting her mom (Teri Hatcher) in the hospital.

Eva Longoria's Restaurant Beso Sued -- Worst. Birthday. Ever.

(11/22/11) Eva Longoria's famous Beso restaurant in L.A. is the slickest place in town ... so slick in fact, that some woman claims she slipped and fell on her ass there at her own birthday dinner.

According to a lawsuit filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Luiza Boyadjian claims she went to Eva's eatery last year to "celebrate her birthday with friends and family."

Boyadjian claims she tried to get up from her chair and walk around, when she "suddenly slipped and fell due to the floor ... being extremely slippery."

Boyadjian claims she's suffered major physical injuries as a result of the fall -- including damage to her nervous system.

Boyadjian alleges the restaurant had a duty to maintain safer floors -- and she's suing for unspecified damages greater than $25,000.

Calls to Beso have not been returned.
