About the actor:
Lyndsy Fonseca plays Dylan Mayfair on ABC’s smash “Desperate Housewives.” Born and raised in Northern California, Fonseca and her family relocated to Los Angeles when, at thirteen years of age, she landed the role of Colleen Carlton on the award-winning CBS daytime drama, “The Young and the Restless,” where she spent the next three years honing her craft.
After ending her commitment on “The Young and the Restless,’” Fonseca went on to recurring roles on some of television’s hottest shows, including a four-episode arc on David E. Kelley’s award winning “Boston Public,” the role of the daughter on CBS’ “How I Met Your Mother” and as Donna on the HBO series “Big Love.” Most recently she was a series regular on CBS’ “Waterfront,” playing the sharp-tongued, political activist daughter of Joe Pantoliano and Mary Stuart Masterson. She can also be seen this season as a guest on the hit series “House” and “CSI.”
On the big screen Fonseca starred in the edgy, coming-of-age independent feature film, “The Beautiful Ordinary,” in which she played Dawn, a girl who is realizing and coming to grips with her sexual orientation. “Beautiful Ordinary” premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival in June 2007 to rave reviews.
Fonseca currently resides in Los Angeles with her dog, Romey. She spends her free time in dance class and acting class, as well as hiking, singing and hanging out with friends.
