Laney
On this page I'll post data on old Laney amps to help out homebrewers and folks repairing old amps. Please send a submission of your own Laney autopsy to "house-of-jim at shaw.ca"

Laney Supergroup Voltage Data
Courtesy of Rockin' John, UK

Here's a great-looking Supergroup owned by Rockin' John. He was kind enough to give some voltage readings when he was inside doing some work (Note on the chassis shot below - the two new filter caps on the inside left)
Here's John's notes, which I've condensed and transferred to chart form below:
HT across cap = 420V; after choke = 400V; after 1st 10K dropper = 325V; after 2nd 10K dropper = 275V; after 3rd 10K dropper = 250V Grid bias (across 68K and 16uF following 330K and diode feed from transformer) = (minus) -28V
Anodes (both) of i/p valve = 165V; cathodes = 1.4V. 1st anode of 2nd valve = 145V; cathode = 1V 2nd anode of 2nd valve = 275V; cathode = 145V Anode (82K load) of phase splitter = 195V; other anode = 205V. Both grids = 26V; both cathodes = 40V. Both EL34s, Screens = 396V; anodes = 410V cathodes (commoned and via 10 Ohms to Gnd) = 1.25V
