1966 Nova

Glenn's new acquisition is the car that Jack Carter sponsored for the 1966 Shell 4000 cross Canada rally. The car was driven by Werner Wenzel who has graciously donated these pictures and other memorabilia to Glenn . The pictures shown are of the car being prepared for the rally in Jack Carters shop circa 1966. The car is a 1966 Nova SS L 79 4spd special ordered just for the rally. Some of the items on the build sheet are power brakes, headrests, HD Suspension, 61 amp alt , hd battery, deletion of spare. So the grueling task of restoring this has begun.
