Seeking Ancestry of John Adolph Cadotte
We are searching for the ancestors of John Adolph Cadotte, who was born in Champlain County, Quebec in
January 1861. Died in Duluth and was buried in Eveleth, Minnesota.
John had two sisters. One Mary Elizabeth who became a Mother Superior in the Catholic Church.
The other sister was a Nun in Catholic Church. Her name is unknown. The 1881 Canadian Census lists
Two sisters working in St. Louis Ward Montreal, Quebec.
According to his Immigration record, John Adolph arrived in the port of Duluth Minnesota about November of 1888.
He was married twice. First to a woman known only as Marion or Marian. His second marriage was to Mary Gallop.
We have much information on this family and descendent's up to the present time that we will share.

John was also in Michigan and was known to travel back and forth to Winnipeg, Manitoba.
At one point he had moved to California, but later returned to Minnesota.
