At Hi Tide Kennels we are striving for the complete Miniature Australian
Shepherd: excellent temperament, sound well-proportioned structure,
and biddable personality. Our dogs are active in Obedience, Agility and
Herding, as well as being family pets. We use only positive reinforcement
and clicker training, and our dogs are fed a natural, raw food diet.

We are located in Victoria, British Columbia, on the west coast of Canada,
and we are able to ship puppies across Canada and the United States.

Charlie and Gin (a natural bobtail) had five puppies on March 6, 2013; they all have gone to their new homes. Two were natural bobtails.

The Miniature Australian Shepherd is a scaled down version of the Australian Shepherd.
It was created by breeding together smaller Aussies, not by
cross-breeding with a smaller breed. Today's Australian Shepherds range
in size from smaller working lines to the larger, flashier show dogs.
Interestingly, the Miniature Australian Shepherd is in many ways closer
in size to the "little blue dogs" which came with flocks of sheep to the
United States and later became known as the Australian Shepherd.

Our dogs are registered with the North American Miniature Australian
Shepherd Club of the U.S.A. (NAMASCUSA), and/or the National Stock Dog
Registry (NSDR), and/or the American Stock Dog Registry (ASDR).
NAMASCUSA is currently negotiating merging with
the Miniature Australian Shepherd Club of America (MASCA).

Our breeding stock have certified hips (OFA or PennHIP)
and their eyes are certified clear (CERF).
