Fila was the puppy we kept from the breeding of our foundation bitch "Bonanza" Am Ch Piroska Bonanza CD CGC x "Pacer" Am/Can Ch Vizsta's Royal Pacesetter (the #1 all time Canadian show Vizsla). She has been a joy to love, train and trial in various venues. She excelled in all areas - show-obedience-field-agility - truly a versatile Vizsla, winning the Tibor Reiter Versatile Vizsla Award from the Vizsla Society of Ontario in 2001.

She finished her show championship at 9 months of age and was #3 in Canada that year and the next year was #2 with her high Field Dog Junior scores. After placing second in Novice Obedience and first in Novice Agility at Nationals in California in '99, she was proud when her pups, Fire and Pele, placed in their large puppy classes in the show ring. These two are trying hard to follow in Fila's footsteps (and perhaps surpass her!).

Her beauty and sweet loving nature continue to shine now that she has earned her retirement at age 7.

Pele, a littermate sister to Fire, has also been a joy to live with and train. Her happy, enthusiastic outlook on life made it easy for her to earn her Conformation Championship (CH), Field Dog (FD), Companion Dog (CD), Advanced Agility (AADC/AGN), CGC and TT titles. While working towards her Masters Agility and Obedience titles she has produced two litters by BISS Am/Can Ch Bajnok Dances With Falcons FD JH.

Pele was diagnosed with Lymphoma early this year and was put to rest at the end of June. Needless to say she was a joy to own, train and compete with. Her pups from Toldi are wonderful, having to date accumulated the following titles: 18 in conformation, 19 in Field, 4 in Obedience

an AOM at National , Top 5 placements, a BPIS, 5 BPIG, Many Group Places

2 NAVDHA Prize 11 and several Field Trial Places

There is a cycle of love and death that shapes the lives of those who choose to travel in the company of animals. It is a cycle unlike any other. To those who have never lived through its turnings or walked its rocky path, our willingness to give our hearts with full knowledge that they will be broken seems incomprehensible. Only we know how small a price we pay for what we receive; our grief, no matter powerful it may be, is an insufficient measure of the joy we have been given.

Pele is still able to do her thing going on 11 years.

Tasha was a loving, gentle, extremely intelligent spirit from the start. She did well in the Show ring placing in the top 5 Vizslas in Canada in '98. Along the way she took 5 Best Puppy in Group wins (BPIG) 2 Group 3 placements and a Group 4th.

Tasha loved hunting and field work and exhibited much joy when she found the bird! With her Field Dog Jr (FDJ) title earned, she passed her first leg of Field Dog (FD) . Then she hit a live electric fence wire that had not been turned off on the farmland test site and THAT, she decided after running to the truck for cover, was THAT. While still very 'birdy' she flatly refused to hunt in any fenced in areas again!

Instead she pranced in the Obedience Ring and had a good time earning her Companion Dog (CD) Title including High in Class scores. Tasha was a wonderful, loving Mom and produced beautiful intelligent pups with sound temperaments and physiques. Tasha is now a content Grandmother, living with her daughter Gabi (CH Piroska Warmth of Sun and Fire, FDJ, CG ) and Granddaughter Solaris (Piroska's Turning On The Heat, CGN) and owner Anthea .

Pipacs lives life enthusiastically! She already has her Field Dog Junior, and Companion Dog titles, and is working in agility and advanced obedience.

Pipacs enjoys going all over from Vancouver with Kristy and her new buddy, Petal.

Covey is our couch potato in the house, and our quail/chuckar pointer in the field. Covey has a High In Trial (HIT) in her Field Dog Junior scores and is working on Field, Obedience and Motherhood. She is expecting her second litter by Fire in mid-February '04!

Covey is enjoying living at Cowichan Bay with Bonnie & Loki.

Poco is so lively we have trouble getting her to stay still long enough to get many pictures. She is currently working on her agility and obedience titles with great enthusiasm!

Thunda is the most recent arrival to our home - all the way from Australia. She is our Thunda From Down Unda! True to her name she arrived on Oct.16/03 , the first day of the Storm of the Century! Thunda has settled right into our home and hearts - watch out for further storm warnings from this energetic dynamo!

Bred by Michael and Sandra Stuart of Abbiestar Hungarian Vizslas, Frankston, she is a daughter of our very own Rippa, now living in Australia, who is the son of Tasha x Fire. Thunda is, of course, another lovely, lively, happy and energetic Vizsla puppy who adores her playmate - Fling! Thunda completed her Ch in the summer of 04 and her Am Ch in January 2006.

"Leia" is co-owned with Frank and Martha Lacko, owners of Toldi.

Leia is the newest addition to our household and she is keeping us all on our toes.She already shows a great penchant for agility and is a typical investigative Vizsla puppy!

Leia completed her Championship at barely 8 months of age including a Group placement and a couple of placements in large classes at the U.S. Nationals in California in November '05. She will now be working in obedience, field and agility.
