Even though we saw it on a rainy day with low clouds, the Skeena River is beautiful in its lower reaches, before the seawater starts to dominate it. I simply love these beautiful deciduous trees....cottonwoods!?...errr...maybe? Anyway, when one's house is surrounded by massive dark hemlocks, huge deciduous trees are very pretty for a change. It made me think of Thabazimbi of all places.
