Muncho lake is situated pretty much on top of the northern Rockies. There is a campsite on the banks of the lake, but it is totally exposed. Here the US Army really struggled to build the road during the Second World War. We saw quiet a lot of mountain goats, one caribou and even a herd of bison at one point.
