Just west of Watson Lake, the Cassiar Highway (Route 37) turns off south. While this route, which has extensive sections of dirt road, is best done when there are fewer USA-registered massive motorhomes around, it does have some truly beautiful scenery. We had collected my wife, who had flown into Whitehorse from Vancouver, and had driven first to Atlin..... and then we took this route home.
