From Here to the Arctic Ocean      Above: The Peace River near Hudson's Hope	Northern BC
For a guy from South Africa, like myself, one of the great moments of the trip North was when we got to the Peace River. This water is moving from the right to the left on its way east and then north to the Arctic Ocean. It was clear that this was very cold country in the hart of Winter. Nevertheless, I was surprised that deciduous trees dominated the vegetation. I always thought it would be all conifer up here.
