The Heather Belle's have been playing as a band for 50 years now. There have been many Scottish lassies who have gone through the ranks of the Heather Belle's with great enjoyment. The Belle's have played at many functions, competitions, concerts, parades etc.. An appearance of note was the the 1993 appearance on stage with former Beatle - Paul MaCartney while performing to a sold out audience at the Winnipeg Stadium. And in 1999 the band performed at the Opening of the Pan-Am Games.
