Stepfanie Kramer guest
starred in "The Hardy
Boys Mysteries" in the
episode "Campus
Terror" (episode #
2.22) 5/7/1978
Kramer is the daughter of actress
Lily Kramer and is probably best
known for her role as the
tough-minded detective, Sgt. Dee
Dee McCall on the popular NBC-TV
series Hunter (In which she
also, wrote, directed, produced
and composed) Although
she left the series at the end of
the sixth season.
Stepfanie's talent and energy
helped make Hunter a
true international hit.
Her following includes fans from
China to Paris, Germany to
Australia and she has been a
regular in the series of Married:
The First Year, We Got it Made
the short-lived The Secret
Empire and is a regular in
the new Hunter series.
She is also a powerful and unique
singer, trained as a Mezzo
Soprano as well as a talented
composer and lyricist. Her
listening tastes in music are
eclectic and include pop, big
band, classical and folk
music.
Stepfanie holds extensive theatre
and musical credits, and is a
graduate of The American Academy
of Dramatic Arts/West.
From childhood on, she
focused her energies on a
performance career, not unusual
for a child from an artistic
background.
With a mother who is an artist,
former model and had her own
country/western radio show, and a
father who was a professional
violinist with the Los Angeles
Philharmonic and toured with big
bands, Stepfanie grew up in a
very creative environment.
Currently utilizing her musical
talents, she has finished work on
a new adult contemporary album
which contains a great deal of
her own original material.
The album, titled "One
Dream," was released by
Fine Arts Records late in 1999,
however, has received little
airtime play. |
