• September 20, 2005: 5 juvenile European Starlings in molting stage at a fountain on Huntington Place.
• September 2005: Many European Starlings in trees at Marina Way on different days of the month.
• September 23, 2005: Maybe 1000 European Starlings covered the 7th fairway at the Fairwinds Golf Course.
• Christmas Bird Count, December 17, 2005: 838 European Starlings.
• February 8, 2006: 1 European Starling seen at the Englishman River Estuary.
• February 18, 2006: 10 European Starlings seen at Reef Road.
• June 2006: Young European Starlings seen in a garden at Marina Way.
• European Starlings can be seen any month in the Nanoose Bay area. In August 2006, large flocks of juveniles (with 200-300 birds) could be seen around the Rocking Horse Pub.
