• August 2005: Common Nighthawks seen from the Lookout between Dolphin and Enos Lakes.
• June 2006: Early in the months a few Common Nighthawks were either heard or seen on different evenings in Beachcomber.
• June 14, 2006: Several Common Nighthawks were heard and seen near Dolphin Lake around 9 pm, and on June 12, 2006 several were observed at the Lookout between Dolphin and Enos Lakes between 8 and 8:30 pm.
• July 23, 2006: A large number of Common Nighthawks seen at Craig Bay.
• July 27, 2006: A large flock of Common Nighthawks seen at Kaye Road behind the Parksville Weigh Scales.
• August 13, 2006: 6 or more Common Nighthawks seen behind the Parksville Weigh Scales.
• July 26, 2009: 6 or more Common Nighthawks seen over Marina Way at the corner of Pilot Way.
