- October 11, 2005: 5 Bald Eagles seen at the Nanoose Naval Base.
- October 12, 2005: 1 juvenile Bald Eagle flying at the Schooner Cove tennis courts.
- October 19, 2005: 3 immature Bald Eagles flying over the Nanoose Bay Estuary.
- October 22, 2005: 2 mature Bald Eagles seen in landing in a tree at Marina Way.
- Christmas Bird Count, December 17, 2005: 61 Bald Eagles.
- January 11, 2006: 1 immature Bald Eagle at Dolphin Lake and 1 mature Bald Eagle at Marina Way.
- January and February 2006: Bald Eagles seen regularly in various parts of the Nanoose area: Nanoose Bay Estuary, Schooner Cove and Dolphin Lake area, Beachcomber, Englishman River Estuary.
- March 1, 2006: 1 Bald Eagle seen sitting in a bare tree at the Nanoose Bay Estuary and 1 Bald Eagle seen flying at Rathtrevor Beach.
- Bald Eagles can be seen in the Nanoose Bay area every month of the year, and there are several active nests in the Nanoose Bay area. Nevertheless, they are scarce during certain times of the year, e.g., in August 2006. One mature Bald Eagle was seen on August 20, 2006 at the Englishman River Estuary, and one was seen on August 30, 2006 on the path from Enos Lake to Dolphin Lake being harassed by a Cooper's Hawk. 1 adult Bald Eagle was seen at the Englishman River Estuary flying with a fish on September 1, 2006 and two adults were seen at the Englishman River Estuary on September 3 flying towards Mallards.
