• May 2006: American Goldfinches seen in various parts of Nanoose: Garry Oaks, Marina Way, Dolphin Drive, Notch Hill.
• July 30, 2006: Several American Goldfinches seen at a feeder at Marina Way.
• August 5: About 20 American Goldfinches were seen at a feeder on Superior Road in Lantzville.
• August 20, 2006: Between 5 and 10 American Goldfinches were seen at the Englishman River Estuary.
• Christmas Bird Count, December 15, 2006: 3 American Goldfinches.
• June 2009: American Goldfinches, both male and female, seen regularly at feeders along Marina Way and in the Fairwinds area, e.g., along Andover Road. American Goldfinches were seen also in various parts of Nanoose Bay in May 2009.
