BC Senior Summer Games - Comox Valley Sept. 15-18th.
Some of our members are competing in these games, and we wish them well.

Thank You to all those who in the past have assisted us with running round robins and tournaments and, of course, socials.

Thank you to those who have offered their names to this year's list. We still need assistance with some of the tournaments so please offer to help if you can.

We now have a new leaf blower and need help cleaning the courts. In the past Gordon, Ron & Paul have been seen out there with their own leaf blowers and/or the old leaf blower the Club owned. Last year Agnes was tireless in sweeping and picking up leaves. Bob Sage also cleaned the courts quite a few times with the new equipment. At times the leaves on the court are endless. Quite a few members have a key to the storage room, so PLEASE assist us by blowing the leaves and needles from the courts. Directions for use of the leaf blower are in the room together with a log sheet that we ask you to sign in on so we know when to change the oil in the engine. This is a GASOLINE only blower. Ron Walmsley has volunteered to look after the maintenance of the leaf blower.

Thank you to all of the above and any who I might have missed.

PLEASE CONSIDER SERVING ON THE EXECUTIVE NEXT YEAR - WE NEED A TREASURER - PLEASE CONSIDER THIS POSITION - ALSO SEVERAL OTHER POSITIONS WILL BE VACANT - EVERYONE WANTS TO PLAY, BUT WE MUST SHARE IN THE LOAD OF RUNNING THE CLUB.

Your Editor - Cynthia Sage
