The question is if you had a  tool that had the possibility to get you what ever you wanted (can’t expect a person with no legs to run a 50 meter dash) would you buy it?

The greatest  when used properly computer that has ever been built, doesn't come with a operators manual, our brain.

The whole concept behind NLP is to provide the tools necessary for an individual to be able to make a choice.

Most people will tell you that they already are making their own choices and are not influenced by others. Unfortunately, most people are not able to make a free choice. The reasoning is that people’s brains are usually in a reactive mode, as opposed to an active mode. For example, do you choose to be angry or do you just get angry? The Pavlov effect (dog salivates when light goes on or bell rings even though there is no food present) can be observed in most humans. Think about a lemon. For most people, just the thought of the lemon will cause a body reaction. So then the question is: do our thoughts cause us to react from past decisions (where A=B) because our brains are programmed to continue to do the same set of instructions? The key is to know how to make a change to the instructions, should you want to create a different response within yourself.

The notion that NLP is meant for digging into and dispelling our human garbage (our deepest inner emotions) is only partially true. The main purpose of NLP is to help us understand HOW our brains process and utilizes information. WHAT our brain processes is a completely different matter. The conscious use of how our brain processes information can be used to change WHAT our brain processes. Making changes is part of our emotional and spiritual maturing process.  Change happens all the time. The difference can be, is the change by accident or by choice?

In counseling our intention is to give some very specific information regarding how your brain processes information. Have you ever wondered just how your brain gets you what you want? And also what you DO NOT want? How often have you said to yourself, “I’m never going to do that again. Never, never, never again!”  And then for some reason, you find yourself repeating the behavior, regardless of how much you want to avoid doing the same thing? Most people can give a long list of what they do not want, and a very short list of what they do want.

The counseling is designed to keep it really simple. It is not about psychology, it is not about learning what to do (been told enough of that?). It is about HOW the brain takes and uses information that is stored within the physical body. It is about HOW this data is creating your life experiences.
