Well how has everyone been, playing lots I hope. Me and my friend just came back from G3 in vancouver. Satriani, Vai, and Malmsteen. What a show, it was amazing. 4 hours of guitar heaven. Satriani was star of the show and played flawlessly. Vai other than being a tad too loud was brilliant. Malsteen was fun to watch but not a personal favorite of mine. All in all, if you ever get the chance to see them, do so. Well off with me to the land of guitar.

Happy new year everyone, I hope all your holidays went well, and if not well I hope you at least wrote a good Blues song to get you through it. I have a lot of things planned for this year to help you all out so check in now and again to see what's new. I have just added a page on Pinch Harmonics to help clarify this technique. It is under the lessons/technique page. Good luck with this one as it is one of the hardest techniques to get really proficient at but one of my favorite and indespensible solo techniques. Welcome back Guitarsensei. Sorry for the wait on updating the page, but I needed a bit of a sabatical from it. I have been focusing on my new business site and many other things in life that keep me occupied. I haven't forgotten this though and will be more frequent with the updates. As you can see, I have re-designed the entire site to make clean things up a little. The original Guitarsensei site was my 1st attempt at web design, so I have got a little better since then.

I hope though at the very least that I have been able to help you all in your quest for musical knowledge, and for a better understanding in theory. I will be adding a lot of cool things here soon, and will update all my lessons and add more to the list. I have also been having a little sabatical from guitar playing, and although my technique will slightly suffer, my inspiration will multiply in the process. I have been trying to actually become a songwriter and learning a lot in general. If I ever get anything recorded that I like, I will post it here for free download.
