Fall 97 Before the rains came and flooded the pump.
Spring 98 After the pump was installed in the garage and the filter repiped.
May 98 The wire cages protect three bog orchids: Orchis spectabilis (Showy Orchid), Cyp reginae and Dact foliosa (Maderian Orchid)
Fish! and More Fish! As of May 98 there are 12 koi and 5 goldfish.
An experiment with two orchids in the stream bed. The one in the front is a Phrag Sedenii 'conchiferum' and the other one is a Disa discolor. You can see which one likes it better! May 98. Aug 98 Update, The Disa didn't make it amd the Phrag has gone into the greenhouse.
Summer 98
The second day after the first water hyacyinth bloomed. There is another large scale bloom in Aug 98.
