The lid had been painted Gold, eeww! it was rusted and pitted.  But at least it was there...

This is how it came back from the plater, Triple Plated Copper, Nickel and Chrome Cost $58.35 plus tax.
A total rip in my opinion but is does look purdy!

But hey, where's the black "stripe"
