Can I save money by being a better driver?  How much?

What about the environment and Oil independence? What is all this worth?

These are tough questions but lets face it, how many folks managed to achieve the fuel economy a vehicle is said to be capable of achieving?

Not many that is for sure.

In fact, it would be far more accurate  to say that the majority of folks do not get even close to the mileage potential of their vehicles.  Why?  Because we lack the skills to drive within the optimal abilities of our vehicles!

That is why we created Green Driving Canada.

With the advice and tips in this website you can improve your fuel economy from 10% to well over 100% in some cases.  In fact picking up the fuel economy quest where the engineers who designed your car left off.  And of course, it does not hurt to save money, drive safer and become a little more environmentally friendly along the way.

If you need further encouragement using the advice we offer: Just think of our children and the future world we really want them to inherit from us.  Every bit counts and the more of us do this the better off they will be.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help promote safe, efficient and environmentally responsible driving.

This web site aims at educating our driving public to not only to save fuel in the face of ever increasing fuel costs but to also meet the most serious challenge human kind ever had to confront: Global Climate Change !!

While many of us take driving for granted, it is easy to forget that it remains a privilege.  This privilege extends well beyond the immediate effects of turning the ignition on your vehicle, and as such, affects a world much larger than ourselves.

Who are we

We are a non-profit group of concerned Canadian and US citizens who see the need to protect our environment and promote the efficient use of our natural resources.

We are also supported by an local and international network of organizations that share in our interest to address Global Warming as the biggest planetary scale issue of our times.
