Clean Cars

Clean vehicles not only consume less fuel but also pollute less.  Nowadays, it is possible to make a choice of a vehicle that not only suites our needs but also represents and quantum leap in environmental responsibility.

Hybrid Electric Vehicles

At the forefront of automotive cleanliness we have Hybrid Electric Vehicles which due to their excellent engineering and systems, manage to be the cleanest and most efficient available to today's consumers.

 Clean Diesel

This is an exciting new development that foretells of a great future for Diesel powered vehicles in North America.  Unfortunately, current and past Diesels had only two major benefits (excellent fuel economy and a long engine life cycle.  Sadly, their emissions are generally very poor, so much so that they cannot be sold in many US states.

However, many manufacturers have committed to a lot of research and development aim at developing cleaner running diesel engines that will meet the emissions ratings of today's gasoline power vehicles.

At the moment we cannot endorse any clean diesels because many are not yet available for sale and those that are (i.e: Mercedes) rate very poorly in quality and reliability.

Nevertheless, we're very excited that Honda is committed to clean Diesel technology and their push for this technology will only accelerate the rate of progress and acceptance of Diesel powered vehicles in North America.

Natural Gas Vehicles

At the moment, only Honda provides a mass produced vehicle that runs on Compressed Natural Gas.  This vehicle is often rated as the cleanest internal combustion vehicle on the market today.

 Cleaner PZEV Gasoline vehicles

Several manufacturers produce vehicles with PZEV rating.  Please note however, that the PZEV (Partial Zero  Emissions Vehicle) operation also depends on the cleanliness of the fuel used.  A dirtier fuel may help defeat the effectiveness of the complex emission control systems in these vehicles in addition to shortening its life.
