Fuel Saving Tips

Sadly, saving fuel still remains an optional endeavor for many of us. For others it is a necessity especially with the ever increasing costs of gasoline and related petroleum based fuels.

To society as a whole, the act of saving fuel should be a far more important mission than just the momentary state of our finances or necessities.  In reality, it is a predictor of our own sustainability and the survival of our children for the decades and centuries that follow.  In the larger scheme of things, it makes our financial reasons for saving fuel look small and selfish.

However, this web site is not just a medium to promote cleaner and more efficient automobiles and technologies.  It is also a source of education and assistance for those drivers who cannot afford a new (or even used) fuel efficient car.  For this reason, we provide advice that is guaranteed to have measurable positive effects for any vehicle regardless of its age and fuel economy capabilities.

To begin extracting maximum benefit from this advice in this site, please review our Eco-driving section.  Eco-driving has been a sanctioned government program by many forward looking nations around the world.  It is based on simple but very sound principles and should serve as a good introductory for anyone wishing to improve their fuel economy as well as reduce their carbon footprint in our world.

To take your fuel saving quest to a higher level, please review our Xtreme-EcoDriving section.

As it stands, Xtreme-EcoDriving is a growing movement that not only turns existing drivers into better and safer drivers, but also offers many folks an alternative to heightened fuel consumption and lower pollution.  While most Xtreme-EcoDriving techniques truly achieve spectacular results in hybrid vehicles, many of these techniques are also applicable to regular vehicles.  All it takes is the commitment from the driver to make a difference and enjoy the results of his/her learning.

Please enjoy the advice contained in this section and let us know of your personal progress (free registration required).
