The Green Anglers are a group of environmentally conscious anglers that recognize a growing concern of garbage left behind on the banks of the Red River.

In 2009 we had 18 participants in pouring rain that collected 600 pounds of garbage and $140 to assist Red River Operation Cleanup (http://www.rroc.ca) in there efforts in keeping the river banks clean. In 2010 we are looking to improve on these numbers.
