    Taking Wrongs Seriously: Acknowledgment, Reconciliation, and the Politics of Sustainable Peace

    This recent book explores the processes of political reconciliation after serious wrongdoing, from a secular point of view.

    Articles in collaboration with Wilhelm Verwoerd

    In 1998-2004 Trudy Govier collaborated extensively with the South African philosopher, Wilhelm Verwoerd, who was a staff researcher with the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission and presently works with ex-combatants at the Glencree Centre for Reconciliation in County Wicklow, Ireland.


    They have written six papers together.
