Mission to
Mars showing what we call forced perspective. Look over
the vast landscape you would swear you were seeing 20
miles and
beyond but in reality it was 1100 ft. in any given
direction. .
Left: sometimes for stunts that are too
risky ( in this case two dogs)
we will build an exact copy of the real thing,
this would have been four stories up......The
picture on the right shows a two ft. model and the real thing
about thirty ft. by about sixteen ft. high. Left:
in a spa on" I Spy" a lot of the stone work is made of a
special type of foam and cast with a wax
finish as to not cause injury when our
squibs are set off- in this set 4 thousand were used. Right "
Santa Claus two" (north
pole under construction). Size
means nothing to the industry. On the left we have thirty five ft. by
five ft. Styrofoam carvings done by electric chainsaw, hotwire,
and knives. On the right we have
the equivalent in wood done by gas chainsaws
and if it wasn't so cold out I would add sweat. This is just a
small example of what I have been involved in in the last twelve years.
I will add more pages to this site as I have time.
