Sylvia's
Bunwich
hi! I came up with a recipe for breakfast bunwiches. At work we
have our break at 10 a.m. it's really hard to eat a burger and fries
at that time of day, so I came up with this recipe:
I use my bread maker for the dough, but you can use your own
bun recipe.
Filling:
6 eggs beaten
salt and pepper to taste
6 Tbsps. milk
1/4 cup chopped broccoli
1/4 cup diced tomato
1 tbsp chopped onion
1/4 cup shredded chedder cheese.
In a hot pan (I use pam veg. spray in place of butter/
marg.) add egg mixture and mix to scramble. Let cool.
To assemble take piece of dough and stretch and pat down, add
1tbsp. of mixture, wrap dough up and round the filling to make a bun.
let rise until double. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until
olden brown. Makes 12 bunwiches.
I hope you will try this. I just pop one in the microwave at work
for about 30 seconds and I have my breakfast. I usually take some
tater tots and deep fry them at work, they make a great accompiment.
Thanks Sylvia
