Dawson City is situated on the Western edge of the Yukon, a short distance from the border with Alaska. It is located 536 KM (333 miles) North of Whitehorse along the Klondike Highway (Highway 2), or 617 KM (380 miles) East of Fairbanks, Alaska over the Top of the World Highway.
