September 2007 Glass Egg Meet
Fort Langley Campground

The weather actually gave us a bit of a break for the meet so we weren't as soggy as we have been in the past. We had great attendance with only two trailers who couldn't make it at the last minute. As in the past for the fall meet we only had a wine and cheese and quick meeting to go over the plans for the spring meet. Gail and Kelly volunteered to come up with an activity for Saturday morning after much pressure but they did such a good job at the May meet last year we couldn't hlep but conscript them again. The Fort Campground was able to get a couple of extra trailers in near the group so we had almost 30 trailers in attendance even through they were not all registered with us (we had 23 spots).

As I had mentioned in one of my emails, I have put together the past meets into video form ( slide shows with music) Once we can get these onto DVD they will be made available to everyone for cost. 42 sites have already been reserved for next May (Friday the 9th - Sunday, May 11th) and I will put the reservation page up in January.

I managed to forget my camera at home so all pictures are courtesy of Angele and Dwight. We hope you enjoy them.

'75 13' Boler

Ken and Cathy did try to attend but unfortunately Ken spent most of the weekend (and the following two weeks) in the hospital due to an infection after a biopsy. We are very happy to report that he has come through just fine(both the infection and the biopsy) and  and will make a full recovery. Ken and Cathy join Jill and I as the only people who have been to each and every one of the meets. Even though we don't see them all the time, they are very dear to us (as are many of our group).

Ken and his family spent the night in the group campground and had to leave on Saturday. They be joining us in the future.

Sweet Pea: Hey you guys, you missed Ed and Jean!
The night after posting the page for the first time Dwight and Angele found four more pictures they had taken. Ed and Jean are no longer missing and we've put a couple in front of Greg's trailer...

'75 13' Trillium

Here's the missing couple. Ed and Jean are always good conversation and we enjoy their company immensly.

Don was missing too!

We also found a picture of Don and Darlene when they came over to visit me and discuss trailer frames.

another missing person!

Rick reappeared (and his faithful companion as well)... people are showing up all over the place!

I need to get their names....

Greg and Isabel in front of their Boler. We have them on our contact list for the next event so they'll be right in the group next time.

Thanks again to Dwight and Angele, they managed to get a picture of every trailer in the group. There were two other trailers, one Trillium (friends of Doug and Sandy) and a Boler who were camped off a fair ways we didn't get pictures of, but we will fit them in next time (we'll catch you Joan and Kathy).
