Gary and I had thought about joining the BC Bus Nuts Chapter of the FMCA, since moving to BC. So when we heard about their Greenwood rally which they had scheduled for the weekend of Sept. 8 to 11th, we called to tell them we wanted to attend.
The weekend proved to be a rainy cool one, but the rally was well attended by many bus conversions and RVs (more than 30 units). The rally was very well organized and the local baseball park was the designated campground, which was within walking distance to the downtown.

Greenwood (the smallest City in Canada) was a picturesque and friendly place, with many of the local businesses giving the Bus Nuts special discounts. Even the Mayor of Greenwood came out to the ballpark personally to extend his welcome to the community and tell us about some of the sites to see while we were there. In short, we enjoyed ourselves so much, we became members of the Bus Nuts that weekend and look forward to the next rally in May, 2001 in the Kootenays.
