North German Plain '85 -
The North German Plain was prime tank country, the kind the Russians and their Warsaw Pact forces wanted to attack through. They had massed their strongest forces there, particularly the Third Shock Army ready to attack in this key area astride Berlin. In this hypothetical clash, the Warsaw Pact unleash their power in the opening of World War III in the summer of 1985. Together the conflict here on this North German plain and at the Fulda Gap in the south, would decide the fate of Europe and the world.
- 35 scenarios included, ranging from a small starter scenario to up to a full 161 turn campaign scenario. The situation depicts a Summer attack but also has a Winter Campaign. Scenarios feature not only the Warsaw Pact on the attack, but also a NATO Counter attack.
- over 57,000 Square miles of map Area covering central Northern Germany from the Hartz Mtns to the Baltic Sea
- Comprehensive period Order of Battle with US, British, West German, Canadian, French, Dutch, Belgian, Russian, East German, and Polish forces.
With all the interest in this game, we have now added a Germany Campaign. This massive Germany '85 Campaign can be downloaded here and is playable when installed with your North German Plain '85 game. And now there is even a second expansion that adds BERLIN and AFNorth!
