Bulge '44

Bulge '44Bulge '44 - For the second time in the war, the Germans pull off a surprise attack in the Ardennes. Under the cover of bad weather that grounds Allied air power the secretly assembled Panzer Armees shakes the ground with a dawn attack. Allied units, shocked and alone in their scattered positions are grimly determined to accomplish the impossible. In the desperate hours ahead, these brave and heroic men will decide the war on the Western Front.

Bulge '44 Bastogne Screen shot

James Cobb, Wargamer writer and critic says:
"I'd recommend Tiller/HPS' Bulge '44 to anybody. I feel it's the best operational level Bulge game out there. It covers every facet of the battle including the campaign plus many variants."

Glenn Saunders says:
See how good the 101st Airborne really was in their stand at Bastogne. Click on the map image to see a close up screen shot showing the 506th of the 101st Airborne, outlined in red, deployed at Foy just NE of Bastogne.

Thomas Marshall says:
I had lost my taste for the Operational level scale I had cut my wargaming teeth on. Until now.

I've now gotten Bulge 44 (finally, THE pc Bulge game to surpass ALL the great Board Bulge games I've ever played ....Damn you and Tiller for relegating my "Bitter Woods" and "Tigers in the Mist" to the bookshelf for life!), and Tobruk 41 (and I'm not even that big a desert fan), and I'll buy whatever comes out next, even with the topic unknown!

Be sure the check out this After Action Report by Bart Gavin covering The Goose Egg at St. Vith begining on the 21st of December.
