Wet & Wild Vancouver Gay Bowling League
This is a Gay & Lesbian mixed bowling league beginning it's 12th season
Registration will be held on Wednesday September 7th, 2011 at 7 p.m. at Rev's Bowling and Entertainment Centre, 5502 Logheed Highway , Burnaby. Your individual membership fee of $28 covers memberships to I.G.B.O. (International Gay Bowling Organisation), CTF (Canadian Tenpin Federation) and Vancouver and District Tenpin Bowling Association (V&DTPA) of which we are apart of. Bring your bowling equipment and practice for a few free games.
There are currently 16 teams consisting of 4 bowlers each. We have room for lots more teams. Combined with spares there are over 90 members in the league. Each week we bowl three games, which takes about 45 minutes each.
Regular league play will begin on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 7 p.m. Lineage fees for the season has been set at $17 per individual per week. Please ensure that you pay your lineage consistently and promptly as the funds ensure that we are able to run the league efficiently.
The bowling season is 30 weeks, and weekly lineage fees are currently $17.00
We are members of IGBO (International Gay Bowling Organization) as well as CTF (Canadian Tenpin Federation) and Vancouver and District Tenpin Bowling Assocation (V&DTPA)
Full-time regular bowlers, and spares that bowl more than 9 games (three nights) are required to pay a one-time $28.00 membership registration fee.
This fee pays for the CTF, IGBO and V&DTPA memberships, which are required under our constitution. This entitles you to bowl in any sponsored tournament in Canada and the quarterly IGBO newsletter.
