I am a Vancouver-based technical writer, journalist, editor, and document designer.
I work with businesses, institutes, non-profits, government agencies, and individuals to develop and edit business plans, communications and marketing plans, corporate communications, policy documents, training materials, and web sites.
As a journalist, my writing and research focus on automotive and small-business topics, horticulture, and arboriculture.
My broad background, life experience, and curiosity provide for a wide perspective and critical thinking, resulting in stories and edited documents that are clear, compelling, and persuasive.
Significant current and past work experience includes editing policies for BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology), editing training materials, and writing and editing for Tow Canada and Collision Quarterly magazines.
My work has also been published in Towing and Recovery Footnotes, Active Voice, West Coast Editor, the Red Deer Advocate, Gardens West, The Other Press, and the e-zine, Looseleaf.
I am a member of the Editors' Association of Canada.
