The VEETERETZ UKRAINIAN DANCE FESTIVAL

invites you to participate in
their sixth festival to be held April 23, 24, & 25, 2012
at the DOW CENTENNIAL CENTRE (8700 – 84 Street)
in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta

Mission Statement: The VEETERETZ UKRAINIAN DANCE FESTIVAL is committed to providing aspiring Ukrainian dancers with a learning environment that is not only positive and encouraging, but intended to provide dancers with opportunities to enhance their personal growth as well as to strive towards higher levels of Ukrainian dance achievement.

I. Opening Letter and Welcome

The Festival welcomes all aspiring Ukrainian dancers and uniquely offers the following:

1. A panel of two adjudicators (one for solos/duets and one for groups)

2. Regional Festival Format – participants may enter in as many different regions as they choose. However, a dancer may only perform one time per age group classification.

3. Awards – during each adjudication session, the following will be recognized and acknowledgement awards will be given for – BEST CHOREOGRAPHY; MOST PROMISING and OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE.

Enclosed please find the rules, regulations, and a copy of our entry form. Please ensure that all your instructors, participants and parents / audience members are aware of the festival guidelines which govern this festival. Deadline for registration must be postmarked no later than January 31, 2012. Confirmation packages and credential information on our adjudicators as well as accommodation information will be sent to you once all registrations have been received and scheduled.
