The Veeteretz School of Ukrainian Dance
Our goal at Veeteretz is that your costuming experience will be positive and stress free.
Our dance school is extremely pleased to provide the majority of our dancers with the use of our regional costumes. There are many advantages of the school owning these costumes instead of individual dancers, these include:
The practice of providing costumes for use by our dancers began over 20 years ago - through the dedicated, determined and creative sewing and fundraising efforts of our Veeteretz dance parents.
- * saving a large amount of money for parents
- * as most groups are very specific in regional costuming,
they become exclusive to schools or groups and cannot be used or sold elsewhere.
- * savings in future costs of altering privately owned costumes
- * uniformity in sewing costumes can greatly enhance the overall appearance of a group.
We are extremely proud of the vast collection of costuming we have accumulated over this time period. Our future plans are to continue to gradually expand our total numbers of costumes so that all Veeteretz dancers are provided with all their costuming needs.
