Motor
(scroll down)

I started with a 454 big block Chev motor. It was disassembled years ago and I can trace it back 10 years. I believe it was disassembled 12 years ago. It has a stock bore with stock flat top pistons. I purchased a set of 1968 100.9 cc heads that had been just rebuilt and flowed with a Victor Jr intake manifold. I put in a Crane .544 lift Energizer cam. A Milodon 8 quart oil pan and a Holley 750 annular discharge carb. I figure it should make 425 horsepower. The 427 Camaro the carb, intake, and heads came out of ran 11's. The Holley electric fuel system can be found in the "Fuel System" section and the MSD ignition system can be found in the "Ignition" section. The Hooker SuperComp headers can be found in the "Header" section.

454 on break in stand

The entire motor was built knowing what was going to be done to it next year. So all the parts that will be used next year were installed this year to keep from buying parts twice.

Motor on engine start up stand. Motor is already broken in and ready to go. All adjustments made and any leaks fixed. Price $4306.45
