The purpose of line lock is to lock the front brakes on, allowing the back wheels to spin freely in the burn out box. This gets the rubber compound hot and sticky so the tire can adhere to the track better.

I located the line lock just under the steering knuckle
and just above the pitman arm. There is a section of flat frame that the
line lock just fit perfect.
When installing the line lock, I once again lucked
out, the stock lines were in perfect condition and I was able to reroute
them so as not to have to cut into them or replace them. I bolted a splitter
block on the frame beside the upper control arm. I disconnected the left
and right brake lines from the proportioning block and bent them around
to the splitter block. They were just the right length. I then plugged
off the lower brake line outlet on the proportioning block. I ran a new
brake line from the proportioning block to the line lock inlet. I ran a
short brake line from the line lock outlet to the splitter. The brake fluid
runs down from the master cylinder to the proportioning block. Out of the
proportioning valve to the line lock, from there to the splitter and out
to the two front calipers. See the "Wiring" section for line lock wiring.
