Welcome
to G.Body.Building. First I built a 1980 Pontiac Lemans. I have not built
this site as a before and after style website. You already know what you
have. I am going to show you what you can have. I created this site for
helping people who want to do some serious hotrodding with a G-Body car.
When I decided to build this car. It was very difficult to find any information.
Lots of people have built very fast G-Body cars but helpful information
is hard to get. I received most of my information from Bill Leong at Performance
Products in Courtenay. Thanks to Phillip Patterson at Malibu
Racing, I was able to get a lot of helpful information. There are other
sites available as well. Some information I found was useful and some I
found just created me a lot of grief, aggravation, and cost me hours of
time and money. I hope this site will help you save some time, energy,
and money.
I will also be discussing
NHRA rules. This car will be a SuperPro race car with license plates when
it is completed. SuperPro is 10.99 and quicker in the quarter mile. To

Chances are you have no intentions on running this class. So you can concentrate
on the rules that apply to you in Pro or Sportsman. A piece of advice.
Take it to the track. Don't race on the streets.
I will give you the cost of
parts. Since I live in Canada, all amounts will be in Canadian currency.
You do the math. By the end of completion, I will give you a complete cost
breakdown on what it cost to build this particular car.
