Fuel System
(scroll down)

The fuel system consists of the fuel cell, lines pump, filter, regulator, press gauge, and carb. I opted for 1/2" aluminum fuel line from the tank to the tranny because it is cheaper than braided hose. According to the NHRA rules a 10 sec car must have braided hose run past the flywheel bell housing area. So I ran braided hose from the tranny to the regulator.

I chose an aluminum 10 gallon fuel cell. It has bolt down tabs. If you use the plastic fuel cell, it has to be held down with metal straps.

The filter and pump are attatched to a common angle bracket. Then bolted to the underside of the trunk floor.

The regulator is mounted to the inner fender with pressure gauge. Two 7/16" braided lines feed the float bowls individually. The carb is a Holley 750 Annular discharge.
