Extreme Weather Shelter

 

 

 

 


Since 2008 the Unitarian Fellowship of Nanaimo through the Social Responsibility Committee has provided space and organized an extreme weather shelter for those without fixed lodging. The clients are housed in the lower level and volunteers are recruited to aid the two paid staff members. All clients are asked to be respectful of one another. Effective March 31, 2011, the Shelter is closed for the season.
