Descendants of Thomas Playford and Leah Martins

We're not sure who Thomas Playford's parents were, but we do know he was married in 1818 at Corpusty, Norfolk to Leah Martins, also of unknown origin. Their children were all born in Corpusty. The family had arrived in Canada by 1841, when their son Thomas married Mary Doubledee. Thomas was a shoemaker. He and Mary, as well as other family members, lived in Wellesley Township in Waterloo County, where some of their children were born. Then they located in Huron County. After Thomas died in 1872, his widow and children migrated west to Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
